I had the privilage of doing my second work shift at the new Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. I could rant on about the security and the actual system that’s in place for my job, but I’d rather look at the positives. The actual building is incredible. I’m in love with what they’ve done with it - a combination of modern, playful but enough child so that the kids can enjoy it.
A few of the highlights are the mini aquarium that’s in the centre, the meerkats (which I sadly didn’t get to see), the lovely hanging mobiles off the roof, there is a Trampoline ice-cream store there and to my knowledge there is or will be a Hoyts cinema. If I was 16 again and back at Hoyts, I would’ve totally worked there.
So, I’ve got a few pictures to show of the place. Enjoy!
