1. Silk scarf weaver at a silk farm that supported locals in gaining and maintaining working skills. These women were incredible how they did their magic with these old school silk weavers.

  2. I don’t want to know what their backs are like by the time they’re 50.

  3. A nice Sunday walk.

  4. Japan is an amazing country with a lot of pride and integrity. With that, they try to hide their social issues like disability, homelessness and suicide.

I think I’m proud of myself for having the guts to take this. Pretty much speaks for itself.

  5. Just a quick nap in the park, Japanese style.

  6. Choo choo!

  7. Quick, this man needs a rod in his hand and some bait.

  8. I was in love with this little old lady. There was a traditional Japanese band playing at the local beer festival, so, of course, everyone was drunk. They just sung the same thing over and over while dancing their hearts out.

  9. Busted taking a picture of these two funny public servants directing traffic. These guys are EVERYWHERE in Japan.

  10. Another train ride, another stranger.

  11. Waiting for a train.

  12. This lovely lady was on my bullet train from Tokyo to Osaka, heading towards Hiroshima. She noticed my horrible horrible Japanese in asking for a beer and some food, laughed, then started to talk to me in really decent English. She even helped me at Osaka for my next train.

Worst part is that I didn’t ask her name.
