This is the car that was involved in this famous picture of a Buddhist monk burning. Felt a little surreal being in it’s presence.
Wow, it’s been a very long time since I’ve updated my Tumblr. I could come out with a million excuses, but essentially, I lost a lot of passion for photography. I do go through these phases, but this was probably the greatest since I started taking pictures in 2004.
Lots has changed. I’ve now got 3 birds (who will feature here shortly enough, hopefully), moved house again, gone through another semester of uni, had several mini breakdowns and gone on another overseas trip to Cambodia and Vietnam, which I just got back from yesterday.
I took about 2000 photos while I was away. All done effortlessly and without feeling like I was missing out on the experience instead of just viewing it all through my camera. A little bit of passion has been ignited. I’m just hoping going through these pictures and sharing them with the world, it’ll stay alight for a while.
Would you like a little deer with that ice-cream?
P.S. Japan has the best soft serve ice cream ever.
Jitensha! Riding around Kyoto was pretty much the best thing out. Seeing the temples via bike is the best way to do it.
(Ohay guys! Long time, no picture. Apologies for the delay - uni, work and getting up mah little earring shop ‘Since I Left You’ has sapped most of my time. Promise I’ll be back in action soon <3)
Staying in for the night. The ryokan that I stayed at had a mini jazz bar. I wore my PJs and slippers. It was amazing.
Shinjuku station is somewhere that I could describe as this insane busy, chaotic mess, but it’s something that you have to experience for yourself one day. It just makes your head spin.
